Mads Nissen è nato in Danimarca nel 1979. Mads Nissen was born in Denmark in 1979. After graduating in 2007 with a degree in photojournalism from The Danish School of Journalism he moved for two years to Shanghai to document the human and social consequences of China’s historic economic rise. In 2009, he was selected for the Joop Swart Masterclass. After working in China for such publications as Time, Newsweek, Der Spiegel and Stern, he returned to his home country, where he is now based. In Denmark, Nissen worked for Berlingske/Scanpix, and in 2014 joined the daily Politiken as a staff photographer. Nissen’s work has been awarded among others in the World Press Photo and Pictures of the Year contests, as well as receiving 15 awards from the Danish Picture of the Year, including twice both Photographer of the Year and Photo of the Year. He has published two books, Amazonas in 2013 by Gyldendal and De Faldne (The Fallen) in 2010 by People’s Press, about the Danish killed in the war in Afghanistan. Mike Brodie (born in 1985), also known by his graffiti tag the “Polaroid Kid” or “Polaroid Kidd”, is an American photographer from Pensacola, Florida.
In 2003, aged 18, Brodie left home to go freighthopping across the USA. A friend gave him a camera and he subsequently spent three years photographing people he encountered, largely train-hoppers, vagabonds, squatters and hobos. Brodie has produced two bodies of work from this (latter) period, Tones of Dirt and Bone and A Period of Juvenile Prosperity, which have been exhibited in galleries and become books.
A Period of Juvenile Prosperity was included in lists of best photobooks of 2013 by critic Sean O’Hagan in The Guardian, Clinton Cargill in The New York Times, Dazed,Mother Jones and American Photo magazine.

Jérôme Sessini builds a passion for photography, discovering documentary photography through books shown by a friend,a photographer. He initiates his own practice, shooting people, landscapes and daily lives of those around his native Eastern France (with Diane Arbus, Lee Friedlander, Mark Cohen, in mind).

Evolving within an uncertain balance of cynical realism and straight upset, Sessini is very careful with the “rightness” of his photographic work. He rejects idealism and other worldliness, which do not take in account some pieces of reality.

Josef Hoflehner (born 1955) is an Austrian photographer known for his dramatic black-and-white landscape and subtle color images. He is also known for the “Jet Airliner” series, which features mostly high-key photographs of low-flying passenger planes over a public beach on the Caribbean island of St. Maarten. He was voted Nature Photographer of the Year 2007, and named as one of “Austria’s 10 Best Contemporary Artists” in 2014. His works are regularly exhibited in New York City, Los Angeles, Paris, London and other world cities.
