Il premio è questo: The International Photographer of the Year (IPOTY). Molto conosciuto.
Purtroppo, né lei, né gli altri giudici, con cui si è successivamente consultata, hanno selezionato le fotografie.
I partecipanti hanno pagato per essere giudicati non si sa da chi. I nomi erano stati inseriti in giuria per attirare i fotografi e farsi pagare la quota di partecipazione, data la professionalità dei componenti.

For my photographer friends and people of the photographic community: I recently discovered that my name and profile was inappropriately used by what appears to be a fraudulent photography competition, the IPOTY. The International Photographer of the Year (IPOTY) competition listed me, and 13 other international photographers, as a judge for their 2017 competition. Upon discovering this, we the “judges”, have reached out to each other and discovered that NONE of us actually judged this competition. As a group, we have collectively written to IPOTY to inform them that we discovered our names have been misused to give this competition credibility. Two weeks have passed and the IPOTY has not responded. They have however removed our names and profiles from their public website. We believe that photographers would be very interested to know that this high profile international photo competition is corrupt. This is a competition that photographers paid to enter, and the judging process has been clearly dishonest. By discussing this publicly, we the judges wish to disassociate ourselves from this competition, and hope to diminish the presence of deceitful institutions within the photographic community.
